PURSUE, OVERTAKE, AND WITHOUT FAIL RECOVER ALL

In I Samuel chapter 30 we see that after a great victory, David with his men return to their home in Ziklag. When they arrive they find the city destroyed by fire and their families taken captive. Of course they were devastated and wept until they could weep no more.

As for the leader, David, not only was his home destroyed and his family taken away but his men blamed him.

Then David turned to the Lord as we read in I Samuel 30:8 So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them? “And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”

When the enemy comes into our lives to kill, steal, and destroy, we must also inquire of the Lord as to how to proceed. Then put His plan into action immediately.

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

To continue with David, immediately he and his men began to pursue their enemy. Along the way they encountered a servant of their enemy who agreed to show them the enemy’s encampment.

When we obey the Lord to pursue, overtake, and without fail recover all the enemy has stolen from us, He will give us divine connections as He did David. Dr. Billye Brim taught us that these are Divine Connections in the Glorious Church. Praise God!

David and his men attacked the enemy’s camp and recovered all that was stolen and much more.

We read in John 10:10 that Jesus has come to give us life more abundantly. So we can expect that as we pursue, overtake and without fail recover all, that we will also receive more than enough.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

In any attack from the enemy on our lives or our ministry or those we have been entrusted to lead, we must strengthen ourselves through the Word and prayer.

We must find specific scriptures for the particular attack. Speak the Word; refuse to doubt and without fail PURSUE, OVERTAKE AND RECOVER ALL.

So if the devil attacks our health, what should we do? Get a little better so we can barely function, learn to live with it? NO!!!! What should we do? PURSUE OVERTAKE AND WITHOUT FAIL RECOVER ALL

If the enemy attacks our family? Should we just worry and hope for the best? NO!!!!! What should we do? PURSUE OVERTAKE AND WITHOUT FAIL RECOVER ALL

If the enemy attacks our finances, what should we do? Learn to live on less? Tell everyone we need help? Talk about how poor we are? NO!!!! What should we do? PURSUE OVERTAKE AND WITHOUT FAIL RECOVER ALL

If the devil steals our peace and joy, what should we do? Mope around? Talk about how miserable, depressed and worried we are? No!! PURSUE OVERTAKE AND WITHOUT FAIL RECOVER ALL!
